Its key element is the activity of the \u201cZvjezdice\u201d Choral Studio.  Ensembles that constitute the Choral Studio are:<\/p>\n

The \u201cZvjezdice\u201d Girls\u2019 Choir  <\/strong><\/p>\n

The Children\u2019s Opera Choir<\/strong><\/p>\n

The most recent activity of the Youth Music Centre involves the founding of the Children\u2019s Opera Ensemble.<\/p>\n

The ensemble gathers around 20 primary school pupils (1st-5th grade) with the purpose of preparing the members for opera performances in the role of children\u2019s chorus.<\/p>\n

So far the ensemble has given a performance at a concert titled \u201cA Day with the Zvjezdice\u201d, held on 6 June in the Croatian Radiotelevision (HTV) studio \u201cAngel Miladinov\u201c; it also participated in the War Requiem by Benjamin Britten in the Lisinski Concert Hall on 28 September 2013, in Carmina Burana by C. Orff and in E. Humperdinck\u2019s opera: Hansel and Gretel, as well as in \u201cThe Shoemaker from Delft\u201d by B. Bersa.<\/p>\n

The \u201cEx Zvjezdice\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The so called \u201cEx Zvjezdice\u201d gather former members of the \u201cZvjezdice\u201d Choral Studio who, joined by their deep love of music, have continued to appear and perform together in various music projects upon leaving the original Choir.<\/p>\n

Some of their most prominent appearances include the repeat performances of Pergolesi\u2019s Stabat Mater alongside the Croatian Chamber Orchestra, The Croatian Baroque Ensemble, as well as their performances at anniversary celebrations and gala concerts of the Choir, a performance of \u201cThe Queen Symphony\u201d alongside The Croatian Army Orchestra, and numerous TV appearances alike.<\/p>\n

Their great love of folklore singing and cooperation with the Croatian Radiotelevision Tamburitza Orchestra yielded a CD release of Croatian folk songs titled \u201cOj ti\u010dice Vijoglavka\u201d (2010).[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″][vc_single_image image=”1072″ img_size=”300×225″][vc_single_image image=”901″ img_size=”300×225″][vc_single_image image=”902″ img_size=”300×225″][vc_single_image image=”903″ img_size=”300×225″][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
